Some very special friends got married recently, under this tree. This is what was happening above them during the ceremony. Just beautiful. 🌿✨ · #love #light #nikonphotography #andalittlebitofmagic
A very big month full of flowers and love. 🌸💗 The one in the bowl is called a Sunflower Hug. 🌻🤗
A heads up to people who like premium cycling kit even more when it's up to 50% off. · @velocioapparel have just announced a holiday sale. Head to their website (velocio.cc) for a large range of men's and women's items. · A couple of big favourites are on sale including this rain jacket (which is so soft and comfortable I often wear it just to block the wind on cool days, plus it stashes well in a jersey pocket) and several colour options for these lightweight summer jerseys which are made of 100% recycled materials. · I've used Velocio products for over four years now and am impressed with the durability as well as the fit and practicality of the designs. · Lovely to look back on these photos and remember some incredible adventures and very happy days indeed: the Lofoten Islands in Norway, keeping fit at home in Sydney, and taking the quick way up a switch back in the French Alps during a week of big and incredible climbs in July. · Photos and exceptional company by @thegayesy and @barneroo. 🙏
"Some people say shock can make you feel very disconnected from the world. My own experience is the opposite. I've never felt so connected." · Some words from my mum's funeral last week, and some of the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. · Thank you to our enormous community of friends and family for all the support, love, and sharing of tears, joy and also laughter over these last big weeks. · We are doing ok, in a large part because of the people we are surrounded by, and for the ways you all look after each other too. 💗🌸✨
Some very sad news to share. My mum, Anne, died suddenly on Sunday night last week. One of her close friends described her as creating communities where ever she went. We are feeling so much love and support from all those communities as they hold us now. We will share details about her funeral service over on Facebook. Find me there at 'Kath Bicksy' - not a bad idea to find me there anyway as less people are using Instagram these days and it's nice to keep contact with friends I interact with more on here. Sending love to all of you as well. 🌸💐💗
It's not what you think! · Sara Kim Hjortborg (@nuuskin) cleverly unpacks deception and moulding attention in muay thai at today's CAVE (Centre for Agency Values and Ethics) interdisciplinary workshop on culture and cognition today. The workshop created such a great buzz from the types of questions asked and topics discussed by bringing such a diverse and interesting group of researchers together. · Sara Kim is working on her PhD with our Cognitive Ecologies research team @macquarieuni. It's such an exciting thing to watch this work develop, and to see the enthusiasm in the room for what we think is a fascinating project too!
