(Shout out to overseas collaborator @w_dc, you will be very missed!) · Justine Shih-Pearson (@jspinmidflight) is giving what looks to be a wonderfully entertaining talk deftly moving between choreographic strategies for writing, processed cheese and her new book project The Unkindness of Strangers, as only someone like Justine can. · JSP and I submitted our PhDs in this department on the same day about eight years ago, so there will be a bit of reflecting on what this experience and training has offered in the time since. Well that was a fun day out! 🤩 Had a rough week and decided to head out to the @rockytrailentertainment Superflow (enduro but not) for some trail therapy, to catch up with my MTB family (lovely to see you all) and to do a week's worth of riding in a day (been a bit wet ☔️). The event delivered and delivered and delivered. The live timing made for some great tussles between myself and Melanie in second. Leanna, first, was in a class of her own. 🚴‍♀️✨ Stoked to finish above my race plate - #958. 😂 · Thanks to @thegayesy for the photo and for being such fun to ride with all day. She won her category and was coming second overall 'til she ate dirt with her chin on a flyer! · Well done all! Great vibe, fun trails and the best type of mud!
Beautiful Spring rides are just around the corner. 🍃🌻 · Meanwhile, here's climbing up l'Alpe d'Huez with @barneroo last month, a memory I will smile back on always. What a landscape! What a view! 🚴‍♀️🏔☀️
