Happy and proud to be part of this massive "Handbook of Embodied Cognition and Sport Psychology," to be part of a such a thriving, switched on research community, and for all the new conversations that have started since this chapter came out. I've loved watching the Tour de France from our loungeroom this year, after several reporting on it from the SBS newsroom. Sad it's nearly over for another year but, after travelling through the French Alps last month, I feel more aware than ever before what an impact events and landscapes like these have on so many lives all year long: ride goals, health goals, travel plans, friendships, personal achievements, community buidling and memories and moments that extend far beyond the racing.
