Pimp My Skills

The Silent Revolution started as an online hub for female mountain bikers to chat about female mountain bikey stuff. It’s grown into a huge community of confident, bubbly chicks on bikes and is quickly transforming the women’s riding and racing scene in many parts of Australia.

In addition to encouraging women to join forces in teams at popular participation style events like the 8, 12 and 24 hour enduros, regular organised rides and some of the best looking kit around, skills clinics are also available to encourage more women to enjoy the twists and turns of Australia’s sweet singletrack. I was flattered to be asked to coach at a couple of upcoming skills clinics for beginner riders while Mick Ross (from the soon-to-launch FLOW Mountain Bike) will be on board for the intermediate/advanced ones.

Have a read of the flyers below (click to enlarge) if this is something you are interested in, or you know someone else who might be. Places are limited and for members of Silent Rev and/or the Western Sydney Mountain Bike Club. If you’re not a member yet, join now (what’s to lose?) or send an expression of interest to m.raggett@hotmail.com in case there are some vacant spots waiting to be filled closer to the date.
