Atherton Tablelands Photoshoot with Wade Lewis

Stories developed for an internet readership don’t go very far without great images. While working in Tropical North Queensland recently one of many highs was spending a day with photographer Wade Lewis shooting images of the expanding trail network in the Atherton Tablelands.

It made my job as a journalist 1000% easier having Wade’s great images to work with to tell stories about the region. Spending the day learning more about photography, art, the history of mountain biking in the area and Wade’s energetic and honest approach on life made it more memorable still.

Images from this shoot have featured in articles developed for SBS Cycling Central, flowmountainbike.com and as part of the lead up to the Roxcycl female rider ambassador program. Please get in touch with myself or Wade if you feel they might be able to help tell a story for another audience. You can read an article on the ongoing development of the trails in the region here.

Thanks Wade for letting me turn the camera on you too. Love your smile, mate. Love your attitude even more!
